Tale # 2

A light wind blows against the green giant maples lining a cozy neighbourhood street, rays of sunlight cut shyly through the leaves to set the scene a glow. While the grandfather men play botchi ball in the park across the street; a little girl screams down the sidewalk. Tears streaming down her face. She’s making chase after a boy of about the age of 5. Her ribbons on her pink dress fly out behind her clinging to her small frame for dear existence. She screams again as she runs… “I feel as though you hurt my feelings!”. The screams and pleadings do nothing to slow the sandy rumpled blue of the boy’s jeans as he disappears around the corner. He merely runs with a tiny hint of impish panic in his eyes.
